A bit of a chardonnay taste to start but without the oakiness — 6 years ago
A white better cool/warm. I swear there are roots in Chardonnay but the grape is rare; Ribona. Plus...it's 2009. A white you have to wait for. Fun. — 11 years ago
Baked fruit on the nose with a slight tartness: apple, pear cobbler. Meyer lemon. Candied lemon. Orange rind. Stone fruit, too. Slightly nutty in the palate and a nice delivery of mineral - bitter finish. Moderate+ acid, moderate alcohol. Fresh, young, and easy drinking. — 7 years ago

This white wine smells peculiar, and I mean that in the best possible way. The nose gives off Meyer lemon with some nuttiness and a side of lanolin. It’s peculiar because I find it uncommon, not because it tastes bad. Quite the opposite. The mouthfeel is full, even though the acidity snaps. Citrus and minerals cover the palate, and it is the citrus that lingers longest in the ample finish. I want to have it with bacon and eggs.
