At Sailor. Very funky, farmy, mineral, but on the lighter end of medium. Bramble with mushrooms and volcanic soil. Prune, red fruit, some anise. 02/21/24 — a month ago

Savory, citrus, garlic/onion like nose that elated into zesty citrus that’s fresh and lively. A very uniquely expressive wine. — 2 months ago
I liked a lot for a malbec — 4 years ago
Good slightly oaky temp grapepoint — 5 years ago
Nose of oak, cedar, cigar box and dark fruit with barnyard funk. Tobacco, tart cherry, cranberry, blackberry and leather on the palate. The middle holds up beautifully, and the finish is long with ample acid and chewy tannins. Well balanced, broad and powerful, this 2001 Gran Reserva is hitting its stride. At $35 a bottle, this is an incredible wine. — 7 years ago
