Quinta Picouto De Cima

Quinta Nova (Nossa Senhora do Carmo)

Reserva Graínha Douro White Blend 2020

2020 | White Blend
Quinta Nova; Grainha Reserva
Cima Corgo; Douro Valley, Portugal

Quite pleased here, ~$25; Blind this is a pretty decent Bourgogne Blanc, 91-92 points.

Blend appears to be Viosinho, Gouveio & Rabigato.

Santa Valha Trás-Os-Montes Valpaços DOC Red Blend 2011

Santa Valha Red Wine from Portugal. 2011. Nice violet color. Very strong soil/mushroom on the nose. Medium acidity. Dry. Alcohol. Berries and sour apple. There's certain brightness in the taste. Sunny flavor? Mineral on the finish. Complex wine. Very unique encounter. That's why you cannot stop trying new wines. — 8 years ago

Roquette e Cazes

Xisto Douro Red Blend

2015 vintage. A joint venture between the Roquette (Quinta do Crasto) and Cazes (Lynch Bages) families. Only produced from the best barrels in exceptional years. Old vines of Touriga Nacional, Tina Roriz and Touriga Franca from the Douro Superior and Cima Corgo sub-regions. Black fruit and violets. Seriously powerful, but it maintains elegance, thanks to the acidity balancing the layers of fruit and ripe tannins. Long lingering finish. Impressive. Abv. 14,5 % . — 2 years ago

Quinta do Sobreiro de Cima

White Blend

I'm proud to be the very first one tagging this baco. A great surprise! What a sharp long wine, vigorous acidity, citron and aged fruits ... Surely over 80 years! Grapes were unknown to me, but very exotic, specially Codega de Larinho. From a non fashion region in Portugal, Tras-os-Montes, I invite courageous ppl to go for it! — 8 years ago
