Vigna Cappella di Santo Stefano Barolo Nebbiolo 2011

Colour is already slightly brownish. But still a very fresh Barolo. Very firm Tannins, good acidity, spices and leather and an endlessy long fruit. Fantastic — a month ago

Cappella Sant'Andrea

Rialto Vernaccia di San Gimignano

Delightful!! Similar to a Pinot Grigio. Jennifer also really liked it. We had it at Eataly overlooking the 9/11 memorial and museum. After visiting there, we were ready for a drink. — 2 years ago

Great red blend of mostly Merlot & Cab — 2 years ago

Cappella Sant'Andrea

Prima Luce Red Blend

This is actually a Vernaccia white blend. Deep golden color with hints of banana and tropical fruits. A bit heavier mouthfeel than a crisp typical Vernaccia. Unique. — 4 years ago

Abreu Vineyards

Cappella Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2007

Abreu....really needs + 10 years to shine. A 1.5 hour decant. A glorious deep murky dark burgundy color with just a little bricking. On the nose: Kaboom! Big nose of dark cherry/plum, funky stewed meat, cassis, sweet mocha, wet forest floor, and a slight menthol. Taste: Buckle up and hold on to the guard rails!!! A creamy, rich, layered full body wine with dark cherry, chocolate, cassis, minerals, and a long earthy cedar finish. In its drinking window, pop one if you got em. Cheers! — 3 months ago
