Castellinuzza di Cinuzzi

Riserva Chianti Classico Sangiovese 2010

Dried leather, tobacco smoke , cherry compote, green pines. Still so fresh, with juicy cherry and strawberry. Layers of limestone, tar, underbresh, and leather with integrating tannins and more forthcoming acidity lingering on the finish. Impressive length. Sedimental value - purchased at the winery and cellared. — a year ago

Castellinuzza e Piuca

Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend 2019

Cherry, raspberry, underbrush, and tomato leaf. Brambly and delicate, plus a nice grippy and mouth watering finish.

Had lost a little verve by day 2.

Castellinuzza

Red Blend 2010

Purchased at winery. Initial latex balloon scents on the nose, which blew off with a double decant. Charred red cherry, red currant preserves, black pepper, hints of tobacco, licorice, and red pepper prevail. Cool sweet and sour aspect. Fresh, acid driven palate with sour cherry for days. Food wine, paired with beef stroganoff. — 6 years ago
