Dark purple color but maybe a twinge lighter in color than the Pesenti. Sugar plums, blueberries, and milk chocolate on the nose. Massive tannins and tons of fruit, this wine is packed with flavor. Full-bodied it coats the mouth and the finish is quite long. Amazing wine, this one can stand the test of time, and probably should. Used the Coravin on this for a small taste. Will lay it down in the cellar for a bit along with its twin. — 4 years ago
One of my favorite old school Paso zin producers (part of the old Pesenti vineyard and lineage). Super low production. This one was probably better a few years ago but still very enjoyable. Had with ribs before my Gators get destroyed by Kentucky. — 9 years ago
Black jammy fruit, sweet cedar, a bit of grip on the finish.
The head to head Turley terroir challenge is a push. Great wines! — 7 months ago
Bit of a let down after a Turley Pesenti. Flabby. Over ripe. — 9 years ago
This new offering from Turley is a total sledgehammer. Full bodied with ripe, boozy raspberry and spice flavors giving way to a plummy finish. Tremendous — 10 months ago
Excellent balanced lively Zin with great texture and acidic complex palate and long finish. A nice surprise and a great value Acker. — 5 years ago

Love this zin. Unabashedly fruity. Strawberry and boysenberry pie. It’s huge with good texture, but doesn’t feel heavy. — 2 months ago
