Corn meal and malt on the nose, silky palate showing off the rocky soil it comes from — 11 years ago
Light Cabernet. No tannins to speak of which is great. Very smooth. — 8 years ago
Honeysuckle, ripe stone fruit, honey. Great wine to chill and drink without food. — 9 years ago
Fantastic cab! Full bodied, brimming with blackberry and intense black currants. It's fruit driven right now but very balanced I have no doubt complexity will emerge as it ages. I've had the 11, 12, & 13 Ravens and loved every one of them. — 9 years ago

Fascinating wine. This is the Pearl of the Ravens. Aged in clay amphora, this cab has beautiful aromatics, a complex palate, sweet tannins, yet is incredibly soft for such a young wine. I’ve had other cabs from Perliss from this vintage, so these unique attributes must be coming from the amphora ageing. Super cool, but only 100 cases made. — a year ago
