Wow! Great experience with this wine rarely tasted so old... clear tileed dress. After two hours in a carafe it completely fills the glass, the palate and the sinuses. A paradoxical mixture of aerial lightness (bright notes of strawberry and flowers) and a feeling of power linked to tight tannins of great persistence. Winning combination with a Saint-Félicien cheese and fresh baguette.
Wow! — 3 years ago
First time drinking a Sauvignon with so much age and oak. Very interesting wine, fermented in barrels from France's most historic oak tree (St. Etienne) which was 435 years old, from the forest of St. Palais. Very thankful to drink this wine with the legendary Camille Gauthier who cut the tree down in 1995, to make the oak barrels for aging. — 10 years ago

2015 Secret Château La Rose Bellevue, Blaye. A small 100% production from one old vine plot in Saint-Palais that is only produced in exceptional years. Deep red colour. Intense perfume with strawberry marmelade, subtle spices and a delicate touch of oak. Concentrated, with layers of fruit, impeccable balance and a long finish. More proof of the potential for great wines in Blaye. Highly recommended. — 3 years ago
Longueur moyenne +. Encore 5 à 7 ans en bouteille lui fera grand bien — 8 years ago
