It would be easy to be seduced by the lush, bright, fresh fruit here. Like a hybrid miracle of the fleshiness of a peach & tartness of some exotic citrus. The textural & structural details that emerge as it sits in the decanter put the onus on you to slow down, consider the depth of the herbal notes on the nose, consider the acidic tension with each bite of food. Then be ridiculously happy that you still have some after the meal. Unreal stuff. — 8 years ago
