Saturday afternoon in Copenhagen and back on the Rieslings. This number from Alsace is the perfect early afternoon, no-food-pairing-needed wine. Respectful on the palate; light, lemony, dry. Leaves a lingering, oily slip around the mouth; a welcome runway for a simple pasta aglio e olio, if one was inclined. Siempre se dice que el mejor vino es el que más te gusta, me gustan frutados en nariz y en boca, con ligera sensación a madera, este malbec de Chile es uno de esos. 2020/5/24 with grilled ribeye, eringi with fennel, tarragon and chives, whitebait aglio olio and radicchio salad. This had a wonderful balance of taut structure and fruit intensity, while still remaining light and translucent. That, with the red fruit and spice nose, gave it an almost Burgundian feel - it was also quite distinct from the other Fay bottles. — 6 years ago
