100 % French Oak with 12% new. Aged for 20 months.
Done in a Northern Rhone style.
Violets, blueberries and game meats with white pepper and a velvety, silky finish.

The whites from Van Westen are often overlooked under the shadow of their excellent reds. This grigio is excellent though. This wine is real and without gimmicks. That almost makes it an exception for Pinot Gris in Naramata. Genuine and well made. A very nice glass of wine with the mineral, lemon, and sage in perfect balance. — 5 years ago

Pulled this one out of the cellar. Cedar, elegant, silky, smoke and stewed plums on the nose, zesty and bright, herbaceous with ultra dry cherry cola palate. Delightful. It’s aged very well. — 10 months ago
