What a great representation of a Naramata Syrah. Tons of complexity and structure with ample earthy notes. — a month ago
I love these ancestrale method wines. So unique and a little unpredictable I guess? Lots of cranberry and red current on the nose... On the palate, that cranberry develops into maybe a richer raspberry, but this doesn't ever really get sweet. I like the dryness here... And the acidity makes the appies on the patio pop. This is always a fun brand and I look forward to each new vintage! — 2 months ago
An Italian plum nose here... On the palate, that plum also includes the plum fluff... Pretty vegetal here... Like we're putting together a spaghetti sauce... I really like this wine and it brings back great memories of visiting the winery a few weeks back after a gap of a few years. Nice. — 22 days ago
A nice one here... On the palate, this is cranberry, cedar, and a whole lot of earthiness... A nice acidity and soft tannin... — a month ago
New label with a new bottle design. 2020 vintage is outstanding.
Grassy and floral aromas with gooseberry.
In the mouth, herbal, passion fruit, fresh cut grass, with lime zest and gooseberry.
A finish with mouth watering crisp acidity. Fresh oysters and clams will be beautiful with this wine. — a month ago
As the name suggests... Deep. A raspberry nose, but on the palate, all the black fruit emerge... Blackberry, current, black cherry, more raspberry... Some syrupy tartness, but this is elegant and balanced... Eucalyptus, some graphite? Big fruit dominates though. The finish is a tad cloying but long... A lot of fruit in this package. — a month ago
This is Garland by Hester Creek in the Okanagan. Pronounced nose of blackberry... On the palate, it's again that concentrated blackberry... Some dried grass dustiness here too. Very nice ripeness... Medium acidity and no e roundy tannin. Ready to drink now. Loved it. — 22 days ago
This one is the 21B clone and makes for a nice dry glass of wine on the beach. On the nose, it's limey. On the palate a lot of apple notes emerge alongside that lime. A decent body here as well. A medium finish that made me think I was sitting in the orchard. — a month ago
