Is this really a BC wine? What a gem — a month ago

Everything at Little Engine seems like it's priced about $10 a bottle higher than local comparables, but that said, despite their pricing and somewhat snootier-than-necessary attitude throughout the organization, they have some interesting wines on offer. In the case of this Gold Label Pinot Noir, it's about depth of flavor and earthiness. Mushroom, dark-rich garden soil, blackberry, black plum, and some baking spiced swimming around in there. Quite nice. Everyone has their own Pinot style and it seems unnecessary to rank then Silver, Gold, and Platinum. This one's worth giving a try though. — 3 months ago
Excellent Reserve Syrah. So smooth and delicious. Would love more. — a month ago
The 2018 was very, very nice. Very plummy! — 2 months ago
Paired it with Latchi Indian food from Penticton while the fires are raging in Christie Mountain. Wines like this make you forget the world around you. What a crazy year you’ve been 2020! — 2 months ago
2019 Wits End Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc. Made by Aussie in British Columbia that tastes like New Zealand.
Domenic is the wine maker...incredibly talented and a great guy to have a glass of wine with.
New Zealand nose with green bean, passion fruit and lime zest.
Crisp, crisp, crisp acidity with flavours of pea tips, gooseberry and citrus. We had grilled B.C. halibut and scallop sashimi with this wine.

Black currant here with maybe a powderier and softer structure than I remember in other vintages. That said, this is such a great wine year after year. If you enjoy it, try getting your hands on their Vulture which is 100% Cab Franc for a similar expression without the merlot to mellow it. — 2 months ago
