Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir 2019

I’m a fussy one with Pinot. It should not come from Western Australia IMO. Clones or climate, prob both. This from the Mornington Peninsula is everything I want. Lower alcohol, rose petals, violets, no confection, some spices. It went really well with a Chicken Biryani. I’ve always loved their Chardonnay and now I’m late to their Pinot Show but loving this immensely. 2019.

(And then I remember that Batista Estate Angelina Pinot is a doll. From WA) 🩷

McIntyre Whole Bunch Shiraz 2013

Deep red purple, medium + tannin, on the nose is herbaceous, stemmy, bright lifted & peppery blackcurrent juice! Such a complex Shiraz! Had it with grilled steak and it is absolutely perfect! — 7 years ago

Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay 2004

Mealier creamier and more savoury. At ten years so super fresh, but quite creamy texture. — 10 years ago
