Odd mismatch of my score versus Delectable. This is a mid-big Cab. It's true that it is absent fruit, but it has burned down to a smoky bacon aroma and taste that is smooth in the mouth. Medium tannins. I wouldn't put this with a steak, but it's working quite
well with pork tonight.

Update: so I'll ding it 1 point because its getting kind of tiring to drink. Since it's not evolving.

Look for the fleurie with the horse on the label. Excellent pairing with a Flannery mismatch New York strip. — 5 years ago
One of the strangest beers I've had in a while, but so lovable. Had a super sour orange and blossom thing going on to it. — 8 years ago
There is a slight misalignment between the fruit and phenolic ripeness, also a mismatch between the oak and the terroir, but it is still an authentic, genuine Langhe Nebbiolo. Wide range of aromatic nuances and dynamic expression with authority. Less polished than Roagna and less subtle than Cascina delle Rose but those three are of similar mold. A relaxed style of winemaking that is complete opposite of producers like Albino Rocca, Bruno Rocca and Sottimano who have a perfectionist approach, — 6 years ago
Excellent but predictable and safe. There is a mismatch between the terroir and the oak. — 7 years ago
On tap at Mothervine in the East End.
A brilliant brew!! — 8 years ago
Rich, juicy, floral, earthy. A multifaceted beauty. Rises above the sea of swill to remind us that a well crafted inexpensive wine is a beautiful thing. Lazily drank with spicy curry, what a horrible mismatch, lol. — 10 years ago
Norma Normington
Quite full fragrance on the nose but a light light on the taste; not the mismatch I was expecting. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautiful wine, just had higher hopes. This is crisp with a touch of acid. I’m tasting cranberry, pomegranate, and a mere suggestion of vanilla. — 3 years ago
