By far the best bonarda I've tasted. So smooth and silky in texture. It was jammy without being syrupy or artificial-tasting. Loads of dark fruit on the nose and palate, perhaps a hint of spice. Extremely enjoyable. Would definitely buy again. 100% Bonarda. 8/11/22. — 4 years ago

@Delectable Wine this is the Balcones Mirador Single Malt Whisky. Could not find it in the system.

The marathon of liquor continues! This is a lighter whisky with a hint of oak barrel on the nose. Pours almost a lighter amber. Honeysuckle notes up front. Sweet influence. This starts off with a bit of a bite. A little unidimensional. Good oaky character to it. Finishes with a really nice pleasant pine resin note. Really intriguing. The finish alone made up the difference between the 9.0 I was GOING to rate this, and the 9.2 I ultimately rated this. — 7 years ago

Deep ruby colored, the nose reveals pronouned aromas of fresh blueberries, blackberries, black plums, ink, graphite, mint as well as vanilla, cedar wood and dark chocolate. The full bodied palate is packed with ripe and smooth tannins, high fruit concentration and refreshing acidity. Quite bold and muscular, leaving a long aftertaste.
