Blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon with 10% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 2% Malbec, originally founded by Rod Strong in 1959. A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 5% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot. Deep Ruby red with aromas of dark fruit, floral and herbs. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cherry and sweet currants with cacao and espresso notes. Full-body, well balanced with fine tannins on a long finish. Very Nice! — 2 years ago
Pleasant drier red with medium body fruit. — 2 months ago
Drank it with a French guy who said it was great. Good enough for me! — 2 years ago
Nice vintage. Dark berry fruit with vanilla notes. One my go to red blends — 3 years ago
Vanilla ice cream (not French vanilla) with cherry compote vibes. Rich body thanks to the petit verdot. Quite a delight for our 6th anniversary dinner! — 2 months ago
Another enjoyable Virginia red. Ripe red fruits, with edges of sweetened oak and earth. Medium bodied, mid-palate finish. — 6 months ago
Balanced and smooth Merlot/Cab blend. Cherry and red berries prominent with some leather and touch of tobacco. Great for under $10 at TJs. — 9 months ago

This wine needs time. Time in the bottle, in a decanter, or time in the glass at the very least (it gets more approachable by the minute, trust me). This is big, bold and bountiful; with the fruit, the body, the tannins and even the finish. Just pair with something just as big. — 19 days ago
