Absolutely a unique experience. The husband of the winemaker gave me this as a gift to try, seeing as I've never had or found Brazilian wine. 100% Merlot and grown 960 meters in the mountains of the southwestern area of Brazil. The nose smelled like aged St Emilion - bell pepper, barnyard, cigarbox, espresso, decaying violets, and stewed black fruits on the nose. The pallet was elegant, with delicate tannin structure, and ample acidity, exhibiting the bell pepper notes, dark cherry and strawberry/rhubarb, and a soft clove spiced finish. For the Bordeaux favored pallet.. and definitely not what I expected.. I wouldn't mind this wine more often! She apparently also makes the other Bordeaux/international varietals, as well as a Chardonnay Traditional Method vintage sparkling aged 30 months on lees! — 8 years ago
Perfect with #iberico pork. #priorat #garnachalover #garnachapower #garnacha @Ricard Rofes well done. Massive bottle. I love the bottle at the same time as I feel it's not very ecological. Some nice floral notes on the nose and a lovely grainy texture with ripe tannins on the palate. Definitely a wine that can age for decades. — 8 years ago

Very good. Light but flavorful and not too fruity. Wonderful with seafood. Z & I both liked it. Great value... Definitely buy again.
