Grapefruit notes make it sassy, but not overpowering. Could pair well with spicy food. — 6 years ago
Pleasure in a bottle! Okay you hedonist berry lovers, this inky dark red is bold and sassy. — 7 years ago
Can’t get enough. Always fun, always a lil funky. Not sure of vintage, because it’s not listed on the bottle but assuming it’s fresh, 2020 or 2021. On the nose: mesquite barbecue sauce, lemony and briny. Palette: it’s weird. There’s very present acidity and the a lot of descriptors you typically don’t want to say (olive brine, yeast, nail polish remover, pickled sunny d) but in the most delicious way possible. — 3 years ago
A really beautiful French Rosé with a spectacular super pale apricot colour. Dominant notes of strawberry, orange blossom and grapefruit with a hint of watermelon Jolly Rancher. Dry, medium acidity and a sassy, tart finish. A perfect wine for our 32° Celsius evening. — 6 years ago
Hands down, my favorite Marlborough Sauvignon. Grassy, sassy, and a big “fuck you” to the establishment. This wine packs a brash punch but throws in enough sweet caramel to put the masses at ease. Total Wine, buy again to celebrate those moments that the younger generation decides enough is enough. — 7 years ago
A beauty. Light, sassy, and fruity; but with depth and character. — 5 years ago
- Luscious and round with alluring aromas of black cherry and roasted herbs. The palette is savory and structured with flavors of robust black fruit, currant, and espresso. Ripe plum and peppery spice alongside complex tannins evolve into a delicate finish.
- The wine offers plenty of blackberry and cassis fruit as well as some licorice, truffle, and lead pencil shavings. It is full-bodied, again very opulent (a hallmark of all of the wines from The Prisoner) and finishes authoritatively. Drink it over the next 4-5 years.
- Deep ruby, black color; alluring and almost outrageous aromas of black currants and raspberry jam, bold; full bodied, sassy, smooth and fine on the palate; dryish, moderate acidity, well balanced; ripe berried fruit and light savory earth in the flavors, nice dollop of sweet oak; medium to long finish, smooth and layered in the aftertaste. Drinks nicely now. — 6 years ago
