Got to take advantage of another Wednesday Wine Committee and boy was it worth it. Wow! Killer wines brought by Glenn for his 60th! As always, wines tasted blind. 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds, 1 dessert wine.
Never thought I'd ever taste something this old...WOW! And it still seemed like a baby! Believe it or not, this came out of oak barrels only five years ago. Holy smokes. Most assumed Sherry. Caramelized, brown sugar, but fairly light bodied. Not liqueur textured like Port. Very cool! — 7 years ago

2017 is 100% cab. Soft pepper and black currant o the nose. More currants, dark berries and warm spices finish off a good wine. Noted that when drank with a curry the spice finish is massively and positively enhanced versus non spicy food. — 5 years ago

1932. Flea collar, honey, buckwheat, beach bonfire, and screaming at the top of its lungs acid. Fucking great. — 8 years ago
