We usually enjoy Argentinian malbecs, so we wanted to try a French version. Some earthiness on the nose, and every bit the 14.5% alcohol content. Lusty and fruity, with a hint of a chocolate liquor...a pure chocolate, not Kahlua, and also the familiar and expected cigar box. Grippy tannins and elegant. Does this go with tonight's pizza? Of course it does. What doesn't? Lol — 3 years ago

Nice pepper and current flavor. Enjoying with some cheeses and olive oil and bread. Tannins are well balanced with the fruit. I’m a big fan of Malbec so I might be biased but this is a very tasty wine. — 10 months ago
