Black cherry, raspberry, currant, white pepper, blackberry and oak. Full-bodied and soft tannins. — 6 months ago
This is a nice “easy-to-drink” wine! Soft enough for almost any pallet yet pairs with so many things: burgers, red meat, cheese, fruit, or just sip! — 2 years ago
Excellent. Still a very big wine but opens wonderful. Real treat! — 4 months ago
Excellent now, will be even better in a few years . Bday dinner party — 2 years ago
A rich but now well balanced Zin in that ripe style that I’d likely not have been too fond of when it was younger. Bottle coated with sediment and oak is prominent in how it’s resolved with plummy berry vanilla notes. Back label says a field blend of Zin Carignane and Petit Sirah, Alexander Valley vineyard, vines cultivated on St. George rootstock grafted onto a 75 year old clone of Zin. — 4 years ago
One of the better bottles I’ve had in a while! 2017 vintage with a lot of depth. Great balance of oak with ripe fruit. Paired with grilled veggies and tenderloin kabobs. — 4 months ago
2020 vintage, easy smooth, great for the price point! — 7 months ago
So delicious and gets better as the meal goes on. Easter brunch — 4 years ago
