On the nose, there is sweet cherry to be sure... Cherry brandy... A mossy, earthy note... Savory mushroom... Yup, we're in the woods... But warm... On the palate, some more green emerges perhaps... Still extremely savory though... Buttery pastry... Cherry is incredibly concentrated... Tannin is fluffy... Medium-short finish... Reading the label, I thought this would pair well with our strong-flavored barbeque, but it paired best with our beef and barley soup appetizer... Wonderfully rich jammy plum and damson flavours in the mouth with soft tannins. Would be great with any lamb dish, but went really well with morrocan lamb filo pie. — 5 years ago
Crisp, clean citrus and apple, hint of white peach and subtle spice. A wonderfully balanced Albariño that is an exceptionally versatile wine in good pairings.
