Sant'Antimo Rosso Red Blend 2011

2011ということもあってか、少しだけ熟成したトーンがある。
それでも、全然へなった熟れ感ではないし、小熟れたタンニンとカベルネの甘草、少しジャミー、メルローのプルーン、サンジョベーゼの香も、それそれ1/3のセパージュがしっかり調和している。
この値段でこの出来はすごいな。

Pacini Vineyard Zinfandel 1999

It is simply amazing how well this wine has held up for 20 years considering it’s a Zinfandel. There is still plenty of fruit and structure. Some of the fruit is muted, but the color was on point and still pretty clear. — 6 years ago

Bright brown garnet with good gradation.
First scents: dried fig, raisins, prune, vanilla, run, barrel, woods, brown sugar.
Second note: beef, bacon, red flowers, nutmeg, dried tomatoes, black olives, cloves, red cabbage, spices. Good complexity.
Smooth fruitiness, mild acid. Good rich body, comfortable tannin and bitterness with sweet dried feign and barrel nuance.
