Lighter on the nose and on the palate but still flavorful. I’m getting raspberries, rhubarb, and a touch of cranberry.
it should continue to open and warm up a tad. — 4 years ago
Finally had time to pickup my boxes from FedEx office today,
This is another Mike Smith winner, so Close to the Myriad Empyrean, just missing on the nose. Can’t wait to compare this to the Carter Las Piedras when they arrive.
Mags of Hunny Bunny Syrah from Fulldraw were also waiting for me with open arms — 6 years ago
Had this bottle for a couple years, opened it the other day because we're moving and can't move our wine. Really smooth and pleasant. Paired well with steak. — 10 years ago
Decanted about 5 hours before dinner and showing very nicely; inky black in the glass, tannins were in line and played well with the dark currant and berry flavors. Although a little less full than the Empyrean, definitely one of my favorite GIII wines. — 6 years ago
Smooth tasty "Delectable" — 9 years ago
Gotta go above the consensus here and give this Cab a 9.3. I didn't find the structure described to me so much as an incredibly drinkable, empyrean specimen of a wine. Strong notes of cranberry. Amazingly good. — 10 years ago

Hard to rate this fairly given it’s young age and lack of decanting.. it was a little tight and closed initially but started to open up as the bottle was consumed .. Has great upside and I can see this easily being a 95+ point wine if given the proper treatment! — 4 years ago
