Chateau Mangot

Les Terrasses Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2017

Delicious with steak. A right bank bourdeaux that was restrained, but differentiated from the Chateau D’Isaan we also opened. — 4 months ago

Les Terrasses de Tour Saint-Christophe St. Émilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend 2014

Much better day 2. Red fruit, leather, fairly light bodied, dry and balanced but not too complex. — 5 years ago

Guy Farge

Passion de Terrasses St. Joseph Syrah 2013

The color appears on the lighter side of what I would expect from a Rhone syrah. Ruby, quite transparent but no bricking yet. The wine airs well with a lot of flowery characters - rose petal, violet, and a slight hint of vine stem. Structurally in tact at 4 years of age. Medium plus acidity and tannin. Elegant with, again, floral showing on the palate backed by red cherry, some earthy, and mushroomy notes as well as slight meatiness. Good quaffable Saint Joseph that would do probably better with 4-5 years more of cellaring time. 89+ — 8 years ago

Les Terrasses Grillées Saint-Chinian Syrah Blend 1998

JKT
9.0

First encounter, aged St. Chinian Languedoc blend of 70/15/15 Syrah/Grenache Noir/Mourvedre. Mature red plummy with animal earthy savory notes and nice firm texture with acidic balance carrying through to finish. Still hints of oak at this age. Interesting. Great with Amahs pork. Les Terrasses des Vallerots Nuits St. Georges Pinot Noir 2012

Earthy and red cherry with moderate plus acidty, light mouthfeel. Medium finish and pleasant tannins that lingered awhile. Definitely a fan. — 8 years ago
