A beautiful Rousanne blend with some Marsanne & Viognier from Rasteau.
The nose is amazing - white peach, white flowers, green mango, underripe pineapple. Broad, warm, exotic. There’s a bit of green chilli sharpness. And some warm stones. Just beautiful.
On the palate this has breadth, richness, creaminess but also brilliant freshness!
White peach galore, dried herbs, a chalky, stony undertone, a hint of green chilli spice. A whisper of tannin frame. This has breadth but also amazing depth and great character. Wow. Anything but a fat, bland standard white from the southern Rhône.
A grand wine. And completely unexpected, too! — 2 years ago
100% Grenache; concrete; no oak. Very easy drinking Grenache. Reminds me of some Sierra Foothills Grenache. 18€ at domaine — 7 years ago

Wonderful CdR - Grenache dominated. None of the cloying over fruited nature you sometimes get. Excellent aromatics - lighter red fruit especially. Good length and a very nice refreshing acid on the finish. Perfect pairing with steak frites au poivre at Paul Bert. Great value. — 10 months ago
