Very enjoyable Gerwurtzaminer from Domaine Darius. — 5 years ago
Subtle popcorn, green apple, cinnamon on the nose. On the palate lemon and grapefruit citrus, green apple and a little honey and cinnamon and bright acidity. Very nice complexity and structure. 2018 vintage tasted June 2019. — 5 years ago
Their basic Cabernet is wonderful though pricey. Is actually a Bordeaux blend and is every bit as good as Puriri Hills. Dark and jammy without being too heavy or tannic. At the tasting room we also had the Darius II which was even better but probably outrageously expensive. — 7 years ago

Beautiful notes of raspberries and blueberries along with some leather. Both follow through on the palate. Juicy orange acidity combined with good tannins. Perhaps a little hot at the back end. Would be great with a steak. A fun and interesting wine. — 5 years ago
Great complexity here. Cherry, earth, mushrooms, a little chocolate. Rich mouthfeel with good acidity and plenty of length. Really enjoyable. — 5 years ago
