Lots of green notes. Green bell pepper, green herbs, and notes of unripe fruit. Very lush and 30 minutes presentation though, starting with the green notes in the front and rolling to a tart and warm finish. This is a gorgeous blend of Syrah, grenache and mourvedre really that is loaded with black fruit, blueberry, blackberry and muted spice. Beautiful wine, elegant and wonderfully mellow with silky tannins. Terrific value at less than $20 — 7 years ago
