Unusually Chard from the Dordogne. Nice — 9 years ago
This is an old cabernet from Peyriac, Vin de Pays d'Oc; should have been past its time from 1998; not the case; from Domaine des Fees, Celliers Mazet; now appears to be Roche Mazet; barrel aged cabernet; 12.0%; cherry-red; nose of dried herbs, tobacco, earth; strong in the dusty herbage, little other aroma; palate sweet fruit; great dryness and long flavours; mainly prune; amazingly good, #languedoc #peyriac #cabernet #dolmandesfees #domainedesfees — 10 years ago

Had no idea what to expect and this was a pleasant surprise. On the lighter end d Cabernet Franc and drank a bit more like an aged PN - with a bit more complexity. — 6 years ago
