2021 vintage. New Zealand’s South Island continues to deliver. Light berry hue in color, rustic red almost brick red at the rim. Vanilla, spice, with a touch of smoke on the nose, blackberry and cherry on the palette. Medium to low bodied, smooth finish, paired exceptionally well with barbecue chicken breast, asparagus, and sweet potato. Would definitely enjoy again. — 2 months ago

Such a damn fine example what Muscat de petit grains dried in the sun can be. Made into the sweet (but not too sweet), spicy aromatic concoction that can be found in many countries. Miel? Yes but I get a lot of dried apricot equally. The residual sugar is IMHO perfectly balanced by the remaining acids. One of the best examples of desert Muscat I've had anywhere. Good cold but maybe even better at cool room temp.

Dark fruit with pepper, cinammon and hints of tobbaco 👃
Zippy and fruity, almost syropy.
Medium acidity. Fruity shit, not too sweet.
Firm but elegant tannins. Medium 🎯
Does what Ozzie Shiraz is supposed to do.
Paired well with a big variety medterrenian dinner.
