P: delicate, pretty mix of flowers and fruit, white a light burst of citrus on the mid palate, and hints of river stones on the finish. Has an overall delicate feel. Worked nicely w sushi.

Castello Banfi Col de Sasso 2016

Pleasant wine to enjoy with our lamb and pork dishes. The English translations didn’t describe the dishes very good as they were delicious. Restaurant wine price was €16. We tasted the high end Banfi wines at their tasting room a few days ago but didn’t get to the everyday wines. — 5 years ago

SUPER BON!
Refermentation en bouteille. Étonnamment, bouchon de liège. Il y avait de la pression là dedans!
Bulle grossière et très agréable.
Légèrement oxydatif, pâte d’amande au nez et en bouche, fruit à chair blanche.
Franchement inhabituel et très impressionnant. Je vais m’en acheter 3-4 dès demain ! 😍
