Super interesting. Opens up much more aromatic than your typical Italian white. Tons of florals, some lemon, dried hay. All a very Italian ensemble, something between a ripe Albariño and a Verdicchio. I'm not entirely sure how I came about this 2015 Corvina for about $12, but I'm glad I did. A couple days of air and this is humming pretty tunes. You notice a little browning on the edges of ruby brick hues. Notes of cherries and raspberries fall comfortably into plums and chocolate and cocoa and then eventually into minerals and woodsy notes on the tail. — a month ago
