I have to say..for a guy who says he doesn't like to make white wine, he is making a fairly decent one... definitely new world fruit forward, and some Malo...bur he has really integrated the oak in well with the bright notes and elegant mouth feel. It has loads of apple tart flavor with brown spices, loads of vanilla, and hints of sweet pineapple and a touch of coconut. Nothing sticks our too much. I'll say he one upped his brother, Charley, at the Caymus Winery with his Mersolei wines he had done, or even Conundrum White. Keep up your work, Joey.. — 7 years ago

Really delicious. Great balance of the deep dried fruit from the amarone skins with the brighter sour cherry of the Corvina. The acid is just slightly brighter than I’d like, bur the effervescence is nice and makes for a great food wine. — 5 years ago
