Château Simard

Château Simard

Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2016

2016 vintage. A delicious Saint-Emilion from the Vauthier family, and slightly ( about at least 40 times) less expensive than Ausone 2016. Don't expect anything flashy, this is an understated gentleman who feels no need to be the loudest in the room, but offers you a real captivating conversation. 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc. This is a steal at 26 euro. Abv. 13,5%. — a day ago

More sharp and compact than the Simard, a more intense tannic grip. Needs time! — 12 years ago
