2022 vintage. In general this is a 60/40 Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot blend. Concentrated ripe black fruit with some rough edges on the tannins. Good indeed, but given the quality of the 2020 and especially the 2019, I expected this even better. — 4 months ago

Literally just a short hop west of Sociando Mallet, a great Bordeaux I’ve bought and cellared since the great 1982, this is an 85% CS/15% M Haut-Medoc that is quite fine, definitely shows a solid tannic backbone, lovely fruit, medium-long finish, I’d guess 7-10 years easily of further development, only troubling thing for me is the 14.5% ABV, but lovely wine nonetheless. — 2 years ago
