Good second wine from Nenin. Bold blackberry and graphite notes, a little leather and brown spice. There are also earthy undertones. Very pleased with this one. — 7 years ago
Oak. Smooth, blackberry and black fruits, leather and tobacco. Traditional, good balanced. 30 min in 8 years is like that. Vanilla. More than 1 hour, showed concentration, quite powerful. 1.5 hours, acidity was shown.2015 @2423, chateau - , 230113-230227 — a year ago
It is hard to distinguish this St. Emilion from the neighboring Pomerol’s Nenin - which is more than great recommendation. — 3 years ago
One of Delon family's finest, this is one of 3 main labels they own, next to Chateau Nenin in Pomerol, and the famed Leoville Las Cases in St. Julien. It is a beautiful expression of Cabernet Sauvignon, delicate, but bright and youthful, and beautifully colored. There is an abundance of black fruits and earth on the nose, and a bit of barnyard in the form of what reminds me of the rind of cheese, or mushrooms, followed by dry crushed rocks. The pallet is balanced and elegant, exhibiting intensity in blackberries, red apple skin, dark cherries, dried herbs, and a gorgeous finish. This was a wonderful wine to be enjoyed, and one that will attest time. I can't wait to have a 2010 in another 5-10 years.
Cheers!

So perfect right now. Plus it’s my daughter’s birth year so that makes it a 10 — 5 months ago
