It’s OK. It has the right red brick color. It got better after breathing a bit. It’s a thin wine that cut nicely through the ribeyes we had it with. — 3 years ago
The best wine I can recall ever drinking. I hope I will remember how well balanced its tannins and fruit are. It is privilege to have enjoyed with our kids. — 3 years ago
What a wonderful wine. Dark ink. David said he noticed a little brown edge on it. It has aged magnificently. Much fruit left after nearly 20 years. Good acidity and tannin. Still at or close to its peak. A privilege. — 2 years ago
Reminds me of the first Ribera del Duero I tasted. It has spice and fruit. The tannins are soft but it has structure. The finish is not long. — 3 years ago
We had this with the best gnocchi, tomato sauce and home made pesto (being winter we had no basil in the garden) I have ever had - all made by Julie, my wife. This wine paired up very well. It’s great value for money. So is Jules! — 3 years ago
This wine pleasantly surprised me. Good minerality and just enough sugar. — 3 years ago
This is a classic and great Napa cab. Well balanced. Enough wood and enough fruit. Enough tannin. Thanks for sharing it with us Pete. — 3 years ago
Great nose. Already drinkable. Opening well. Rounded. Good wood. Will mature for years to come. Great South African Cabernet. — 3 years ago
Lovely first impression. Smooth and easy. It’s all in the initial run over the taste buds. Unfortunate there is no second and third layer. You get it all out of the gate. There isn’t much of a finish. It doesn’t linger. — 3 years ago

Still refreshing. Good acidity with hints of melon and some light floral tones. Not grassy. It is Semillon forward. Lovely. — 2 years ago
