Golden in color.

Nice oaky nose and full bodied with medium acidity.

Showing cedar, citrus, apples, pears, light earth, vanilla, spices and white pepper.

Dry on the palate with mild complexity and a short finish.

Elegant and balanced, but a little watery. Not too rich, yet easy drinking and good by itself or with food.

Chardonnay grapes were aged for 9 months in new French oak barrels. A tiny production of only 4 barrels.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. The wine has balance of acidity, tannins and body. Aromas of bay leave, ripe plum and cigar box. I enjoyed this wine with grilled lamb. — 7 years ago
