Château Brochon

Benjamin Leroux

Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir 2020

This is the Terroir de Brochon bottling which was done specially for our chapter of the Confrerie des Chevaliers du Tastevin. Gorgeous blue fruited villages wine. A baby, but delicious now. — 2 years ago

Domaine Didier Fornerol

Bourgogne Blanc Chardonnay

Fantastic region-level white Burgundy by Didier Fornerol (former cellar master at Domaine de L’Arlot, back in the 1990s). It comes from a tiny 0.20 hectare plot in Corgoloin, the southernmost village of the Côte de Nuits (it is one of the villages without appellation, lumped together Comblanchien, Brochon, Fixin and Premeaux under the Côtes de Nuits-Villages appellation). Aged for 12 months in oak barrels, 20% new. Classic-style, quite oaky, with notes of vanilla, minerals, beeswax and a hint of fennel. Medium to full-bodied, rich and layered. Citrus flavors and some minerals. Long finish, great texture — 2 years ago

Great bottle of wine considering we picked it up at a corner store. Full bodied and delicious. — 10 years ago
