Castillo Clavijo

Gran Reserva RIoja Tempranillo Blend 2016

Great rioja for the price. Great flavors of vanilla and warm spice. Thin body but nice structure otherwise. Crisp for a rioja. — 6 days ago

Marqués de Murrieta

Castillo Ygay Reserva Especial Rioja Tempranillo Blend 2018

Blend of 86% Tempranillo, 8% Graciano, 4% Mazuelo (Cariñena) and 2% Garnacha, grapes and various plots fermented separately, aged for 20 months in American oak, then blended. Deep Ruby color with aromas of ripe black fruits and floral spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry and plum with notes of leather, vanilla and oaky notes. Fine tannins, long finish, lively acidity ending with fruit, sweet oak and spice. Nice! ‘17 a bit better! — 3 months ago

Marqués de Murrieta

Castillo Ygay Gran Reserva Rioja Tempranillo Blend 2011

Still youthful and sassy, both elegant and powerful. Time will balance this nectar and will drink well for another 20 years. Blend dominated by tempraniilo (85%) . Thus Ygay is on a roll! — 6 months ago
