Surprisingly complex for a frizzante, perfect for the hottest summer evening in LA. Blackberries and raspberries, with an undertone of smoke and wood and the barest hint of soy sauce. Enjoyed this red sparkler with Dreama at Jame Enoteca in El Segundo, to celebrate the start of the weekend. — 3 months ago
Outstanding! It's no secret Italians know their wine and this one did not disappoint. Full of flavor, bold, smooth. — a year ago
Kept a 2nd bottle of it and did not disappoint! Like the juiciness and reduced chalkiness that others have. — 4 years ago
damn good barolo. smooth, dark berries that linger for days and great depth with some serious tannins. prob even better in another 5 years. — 9 months ago

Lovely aromatics, ripe red fruit, internationally pleasing. Organic wine. Big, fruity, med+ acid, med- tannin, nice balance with hint of herbaceousness. Quite different than the benchmark CC style. $65 — 4 years ago
Drinking very well already. A steal at $29 — 5 years ago

A perfect pairing with tonight's sausage pizza and lasagna. Took me a minute to figure out who makes this wine, as the producer's name is in the smallest print. Dusty cherries, plums, leather, basil, tea leaves at the end. Fair acidity and a very soft mouthfeel make this chianti a winner.
Listening to my new addiction: a song called "Trickster" by Maromaro. Heavens to Betsy, I wish you would all check him out. A brilliant guitar player with his own unique voice. — 3 days ago
