Lemon citrus and hints herbs. — 7 months ago
Lighter in color for a 2019, more of a medium ruby. Nose is cherry pie, not tart cherries but sweet black cherry. A bit of dust and a lot of cedar chest. Great structure, smooth tannins, and medium to full-bodied. The lighter color fooled me into thinking this would be a lighter cab, but it packs plenty of punch. The finish lingers especially pumping those cedar notes throughout. — 2 years ago
I just found this hiding in our cellar, given the age on the wine, I thought that this would need to be dispatched with urgency. I could not have been further from how it actually presented.
The nose is lively and almost raucous. Loads of cherry jam and cinnamon. The palate is dense and compact, showing absolutely no signs of aging. Cherries, cedar and sweet jam are joined by powerful tannins. I’m floored as to how well this has presented. Kudos to the winery. — a month ago
A nice, clean and crisp Sauvignon blanc. There were flavors of lemon and apricot, and hints of dry and green grass all paired with a low minerality (which I always like). Easy drinking. Would love another bottle with lunch on a summer’s day. — 3 months ago
This was delicate and flavorful. Exquisite nose of vanilla and strawberry that was matched by the same flavors with the addition of cola. — a year ago
Med+ body, med acid and tannin… red cherry and vanilla aromas, red fruit flavor, caramel and woody; for a mass wine, somewhat simple, kinda big, but not exactly unlikeable. — 2 months ago
Bottle reads beautifully deep in hues, it leads complex notions of boysenberry and pomegranate preserves over suggestions of violets and sage. I would have never been able to write this description without cheating — a year ago
