Great. Nice sour notes — 8 years ago
Light and lemony. Gruners are usually food friendly but this one I liked better on its own. — 9 years ago

Fruity Riesling - ideal with goat cheese! — 11 years ago
Nice and aromatic German wine. It's more desert wine, but it was OK together with light seafood pasta, too. — 11 years ago

Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Schöner Alltagswein. — 8 years ago
Light golden in color.
Beautiful auromatic nose of white flowers, lemons, citrus, tropical fruits, light banana, peaches, yellow apples, minerals and white pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice legs.
Off-dry on the palate with citrus, lemons, apples, pears, peaches, tropical fruits, sea salt, slate and white pepper.
Long finish with lemons.
This is a very nice German Gewurztraminer . Well balanced with enough acidity for the fruits and sugar. Easy to drink and inexpensive with nice complexity.
Good for parties or as a sipping wine. Also good with food, and will pair nicely with Thai food or spicy Indian food.
10.5% alcohol by volume. — 9 years ago
Schöner ausgewogener Wein, tolle Bittertöne, lange im Mund. Lecker — 10 years ago
It's a cooperative but fucking good stuff! Great lemberger with a great value! — 11 years ago
For the price, this is an excellent wine. Subtle hint of tannins, mellow fruitiness, and nice and dry. Excellent with Thai style pork skewers. — 5 years ago
This is an amazing rose from Austria. Purchased it during the summer of 2020, but it made it until December in our wine fridge. Glad that it did, because it delicious and I will purchase again to enjoy on hot summer day! — 6 years ago

Winzer Krems Grüner Veltliner – Kellermeister Privat
Kremstal DAC, Austria 🇦🇹
Overview
A classic Grüner Veltliner from the Kremstal DAC, one of Austria’s benchmark regions for this varietal. Known for its cool climate and mineral-rich soils along the Danube, Kremstal consistently produces bright, crisp, and ultra-refreshing Grüners with excellent typicity.
Aromas & Flavors
Vivid notes of pear, green apple, and citrus zest, lifted by the grape’s signature white pepper spice. There’s also a subtle herbal undertone that rounds out the freshness.
Mouthfeel
Light to medium-bodied, with zippy acidity that keeps it lively and food-friendly. A faint touch of tannin adds structure without weighing it down. Clean, dry, and palate-reviving.
Winemaking Notes
Produced under Winzer Krems’ Kellermeister Privat label, which emphasizes classic varietal expression. Stainless steel fermentation preserves brightness and minerality, keeping the wine fresh and precise.
Food Pairing
Perfect with fresh salads, grilled vegetables, or seafood. A natural companion to spicy Asian dishes thanks to its crisp acidity, or simply enjoy it chilled on a warm day.
Verdict
A textbook Grüner Veltliner that embodies everything people love about the style: refreshing, balanced, and versatile. A great palate “reset” wine, ideal for everyday enjoyment or pairing across cuisines. 📚 Educational Sidebar – Austria’s DAC System
Austria uses DAC (Districtus Austriae Controllatus) to certify quality wines tied to specific terroirs — much like France’s AOC. Kremstal DAC, where this wine hails from, is known for fruit-forward Grüner Veltliner and Riesling with lively minerality and freshness. — a year ago
