I love these guys!!!! This is Chronic Cellars Love Machine. As good as any pinot noir Ive ever had! Just kidding. This wine is perfection in a glass. First of all, I love grenache! It also has syrah, petite sirah, and of coarse their signature grape, mourvedre! The nose is sweet cherry pie! The initial palate delivers those bright red fruits - cherry, raspberry, and even ripe red apple. The middle delivers notes of cinnamon and sage. The finish is perfect! You can taste the graphite and the soil. - see the similarities to a Pinot Noir? However, this is complex. Now Im getting oak! Obviously much more on the finish than Pinot Noir, which has its own beautiful qualities. Please don’t take that the wrong way! LOVE LOVE LOVE my pinot noirs!!!!!!!!!! If you want to try a really amazing Pinot Noir, I suggest Bruliam pinots! But good luck finding them - Love you Kerith! Thank you for a beautiful tasting tonight!!!!!! — 5 years ago
Nice spice, tart cherry, and plum taste. Delicious with spare rib papardelle! — 9 years ago
Okay. First of all, this is Gap’s Crown Vineyard 2017 pinot noir in SONOMA baby! Kerith is absolutely amazing. She has developed and crafted a wine so beautiful, its worthy to be the house wine for the Royal Palace and the Queen of England! Nevertheless, it is definitely my house Pinot Noir as well as the best Pinot Noir you will ever have. Before I discovered Bruliam wines, I thought the best pinots came from Oregon. Boy was I wrong! Kerith.... wow. Excellent job. And that’s really all I have to say if you like Pinot Noir, you’re going to love Bruliam- wine is elemental! Just do it! — 5 years ago
