Vibrant and juicy with notes of strawberry and spice. Medium body with nice acidity. Lovely with cheesy pasta dish. — 18 days ago
Underripe cherry, orange juice/mimosa, fuschia on the nose. Puckery as hell. Lemon rind, sea salt, maybe a tiiiny dash of Tapatio. Ideal for a lazy day when it’s hot in the sun but shivery out of it. Drink chilled. — 6 days ago

Dark brick red. Sort oxidized on the nose. Like dried fruits and apple cider. Flavor is tart and classic Italian. Lots of cherry. Some smoke. Hint of strawberry jam. Lovely balance. Licorice/anise comes later. Juicy but rich. Southern Italian wine wins again! — 6 days ago
Founded in 1979 by Giovanni Cantele and his two sons Augusto and Domenico. Ruby with big fruit aromas with sweet jammy notes. On the palate concentrated berry fruit flavors, a bit jammy and sweet, lively acidity, surprisingly great balance. Firm tannins yielding a medium finish ending with noticeable alcohol. Good value for a wine with a bit of complexity.
