Young Silvia Barbaglia makes fantastic wines in this tiny Northern Piemonte DOC. Boca is a blend from Nebbiolo and Vespolina. This 2006 has aged beautifully and smells like Nebbiolo dried roses, intertwined with Vespolina violets. Elegant and profound, perfectly balanced and very good length. Wish I had more of this in my cellar. — 7 years ago

From an area of sand and rock dunes betwixt sea and vineyards, WOW, it smells like kelp (in a great way) but also dried fruit and rosemary. Juicy with a super dry finish. Prunes and chocolate waltz through. I adore. — 3 years ago

Very enjoyable. Rich and full bodied, a soft initial mouth feel followed by a good sense of structure, shows well integrated tannin. Dark, almost stewed fruit (in a positive way). The Sangiovese and Cab Save come together well in this interesting wine that reminded me of a Puglian Primitivo in some respects. — 7 years ago
