Really good. Better than the Bonanza Cab. — 3 years ago
E: I may even like this more than my favorite (Bonanza). — 6 years ago
Mmmm... another boozy bonanza but the alcohol was so well integrated. A giant bouquet as expected and luxurious flavors of brown sugar and dried black cherries. Acid-heads rejoice! — 6 years ago
Flavorful cabernet that starts with spice and notes of tobacco and ends with a fruity bonanza. Recommend to let wine aerate before drinking. — 8 years ago
Birth year bonanza!!! — 10 years ago
Stone fruits & white flowers on the nose, a bit of pear, nice waxiness, lemon curd.
Lemon peel, full in the mouth, refreshing.
After some airing, a mineral bonanza.
Goes well with a treat from further south
Spaghetti ala vongole w chili.
Yum.

Awesome pet nat to kick off the day before we go to Gyst tonight for a bubble bonanza. Lychee, honeysuckle and jasmine, funky kombucha-esque yeastiness, fresh grapefruit juice, and a green apple, saline Basque cider-y character. Nice juicy acidity keeps your mouth watering, and the texture and intensity of bubbles is so delightful; light but persistent bubbles make for an awesome, creamy mouthfeel. Just a tiny bit of perceptible RS. So yummy and I know I'll be crushing a lot of this stuff next summer; major beach day vibes with this wine. Also it was rad with the country fried steak and eggs from Uptown Diner we got delivered because it's NYE and we're ballin' out. — 9 years ago

Intense and still young chianti which started blossoming after 2hrs in the decanter. Spiced red fruit bonanza with black tea and forst floor. Very long and intense. Served with Italian Peposo beef stew, a sublime combination . — 3 years ago
Haven’t had this vintage in 5 years., and the extra 5 years of aging makes a difference.
I also had the 1994 exactly a year ago, and it’s even better than that.
Great value considering how aged it is. Smooth. Berry bonanza.
I play a game with my wife where she picks a bottle from my cabinet while I grill a steak (in this case, a 1.25kg dry aged porterhouse) and I blind taste the wine and tell her what it is. We made a bet that if I got the correct bottle (out of over 50) that she had to go and spend $150 on a bottle. If I got it wrong, I couldn’t shop at the LCBO for two weeks (that’s like a year for anyone else).
I guessed old world. Spanish. Approx 10 years old... but thought it was a 2010 Cune Gran Reserva.
