After a much anticipated family trip to Transylvania this August was canceled, the fact this Romanian wine (from Transylvania!) is so (and I really mean, sooo) good, makes the reality of that not-going-to-happen-anytime-soon-family-reunion even tougher. That said, I’d like to take a moment and say HOLY COW... NO WONDER DRACULA LIVES WHERE HE LIVES. These thirsty orange-wine producing vampires are not horsing around. Unfiltered field blend, fermented on the skins, humming with tangerine, lemon, lilies, effervescence and blah blah blah, buy it, serve it chilled. — 4 years ago
Drinks like a nice, dry Riesling. 12% alcohol. Faint pineapple and flowers, especially on the finish. — a year ago

So tart! Blueberries on the nose, and berry city — cranberry, raspberry, tart strawberry, blueberry — but with a nice minerality to even it out. A favorite. Had for Jason’s birthday weekend. — 3 years ago
