You would have no idea if you tasted this blindfold it was from CA - this is Old World Northern Rhone Syrah. Good acidity, tannins, and fruit. Love wine from this producer! — 5 years ago

Put on a blindfold and you think it’s a red wine — 3 years ago
Absolutely gorgeous. Blindfold me and I'd swear this was a big Spanish red. Oodles of lush fruit. Wicked. — 7 years ago
2001: Sweet spot. In that middle twilight area, where there is still a depth of sweet fruit, yet moving into a mature status. Roasted beets, soy, and meaty - a blindfold test would suggest a lush Cote Rotie. Really showing beautifully now, yet will continue to match glycerin to fading fruit as aging continues. Yummy. — 9 years ago
A proprietary blend, made by Founder and Winemaker Dave Phinney, from Chardonnay, Roussanne, Viognier, Chenin Blanc, Muscat, and Vermentino from California. Golden yellow color with aromas of tropical and citrus fruit and melons, aged, 25% in new oak, 60% neutral & 15% stainless for 10 months. On the palate flavors of melons, citrus, and pears, hints of cinnamon spice and toasty oak. Long finish, lively acidity, good balance ending with fruit and mineral character. — 8 months ago
Wow! Amazing wine - throw in the price and you’ll be blown away. If you tasted blindfold you’d think it was Opus. — 5 years ago
