2016: Outstanding Cote-Rotie. A mouthful of earthy, mineral-heavy funk enveloping blackberry Syrah fruit. Flavors of “sour black olive,” iron and barnyard are Bordeaux-like and not subtle but make this complex and unique, especially for a 2016. So interesting throughout. $65 at BK. — 3 years ago
