Baxter's choice at Deal. A nice sweet German. — 11 years ago
I was thrilled to head back to England this weekend for a wonderful wedding. At the reception we enjoyed Good Ordinary Claret from Berry Brothers. A perennial classic, thee 2015 has juicy tannins, vibrant fruit and attractive leather qualities. A good choice, and rather fun to be served in magnums. — 6 years ago
Merchant bottling. Blend of Folle Blanche and Ugni Blanc. Wonderfully fresh and elegant. Extremely delicate and subtle. Just great! — 10 years ago

Berry Bros own vintage. They are the oldest distributer in London (possibly the world) dating back to 1698. This Chateauneuf-du-Pape is very delightful! Very soft tannin, pronounced and full body, with dark cherry, ceder, and white pepper characteristics. — 11 years ago
Delectable Wine

The 2005 Cheval Blanc has a very intense bouquet, conveying so much energy that it almost knocks you sideways. That strong marine influence remains, the aromatics have opened up since I last tasted it. The palate is medium-bodied with firm backbone, yet more pliant than previous bottles, offering dense black fruit laced with mint and quite a potent saline note that drives the finish. This is surprisingly peppery on the aftertaste that is incredibly long. Awesome, but it needs more time. Tasted from an ex-château bottle at Berry, Brothers & Rudd.
